1. Overview
See Through Script Reader is a floating teleprompter browser extension provided by Coinimain (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies to versions distributed for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. It is designed to operate without user accounts, a managed backend, analytics, advertising, tracking, or cloud synchronization.
2. Information handled locally
The extension processes information you enter or configure, including script text, script titles, the currently selected script, and teleprompter settings. This information is stored using the browser’s local WebExtensions storage API, commonly exposed as chrome.storage.local or browser.storage.local.
The extension does not transmit scripts or settings to Coinimain. It does not include analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, crash-reporting services, or a remote database.
3. Browser permissions
The permission names below are part of the WebExtensions model used by the supported browsers. A browser may describe or present them differently in its interface.
Storage
The storage permission saves your scripts and extension state locally so they remain available when you reopen the popup.
Active tab
The activeTab permission grants temporary access to the current tab only after you click the extension and choose Start Prompter. The extension checks whether the current page is a supported regular webpage before launching the overlay.
Scripting
The scripting permission inserts the packaged teleprompter JavaScript and CSS into the active tab after you choose Start Prompter. It is used only to display and operate the floating teleprompter.
4. Webpage access
The extension does not read, collect, store, or transmit the text, images, form entries, passwords, messages, call contents, camera stream, microphone stream, or other content of the webpage underneath the teleprompter.
It does not collect browsing history or monitor pages in the background. Access is initiated by your action on the active tab and is used to add the visible overlay. The extension may check the current tab’s address scheme to determine whether the browser permits the overlay; that address is not retained or transmitted.
6. Browser stores and external links
The extension may include optional links to this website, its listing or reviews page in the relevant browser extension store, and the Android app’s Google Play listing. These destinations open only when you select them.
Google Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, Firefox Browser Add-ons, Google Play, GitHub Pages, and other browser or distribution services may process information needed to provide their websites, distribute or update the extension, maintain security, and operate store features under their own terms and privacy practices. Coinimain does not receive your locally stored scripts through those services.
The Google Play logo and other extension interface assets are packaged locally and are not fetched from a tracking or advertising server.
7. This website
This website does not use analytics, advertising scripts, contact forms, tracking pixels, or cookies set by Coinimain.
The site is hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information needed to deliver the site, such as an IP address, browser details, and request logs, under GitHub’s own privacy practices.
8. Retention and deletion
Scripts and extension state remain in the browser’s local extension storage until you delete scripts, clear the extension’s stored data, or uninstall the extension, subject to the storage and profile behavior of your browser.
You can delete individual scripts from the popup. To remove all locally stored extension information, remove the extension or clear its extension data through the applicable controls in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
9. Security
Keeping scripts local reduces network exposure, but no storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your browser profile and device with appropriate account, screen-lock, and device-security settings.
10. Children’s privacy
See Through Script Reader is a general-purpose productivity extension and is not specifically directed to children. Because the current version does not collect or transmit user data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the extension’s functionality, permissions, third-party services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a material update is published.
