Floating teleprompter for Chrome

Your browser.
Now with a teleprompter.

Write or paste a script, then keep it scrolling above the webpage you use for webcam recording, live calls, interviews, presentations, or online teaching.

No account required. Scripts and settings remain in Chrome on your device.

Runs above the webpage

Launch a draggable, resizable teleprompter without leaving the browser-based recording, calling, or presentation page underneath.

Controls that stay close

Play, pause, restart, change speed, resize text, adjust brightness, minimize the overlay, or move manually through the script.

Local-first script library

Create, edit, search, copy, and delete scripts. Your script library is saved locally through Chrome extension storage.

Made for real delivery

Stay on message without changing your workflow.

The extension turns the current browser tab into a focused prompting workspace only when you ask it to.

  • No browsing-history collection
  • No reading or transmission of webpage content
  • Scripts remain in local extension storage

Permission transparency

Access begins when you press Start Prompter.

The extension uses Chrome’s storage permission for your local scripts, plus active-tab and scripting access to place the teleprompter on the webpage you explicitly choose. It does not inspect or transmit the page’s content.
